What's to Do!
Best of Sandbridge
by Tracy Ohlinger
Sandbridge is located only 20 minutes from Virginia Beach and only a 30 minute drive from Norfolk. It is not like most beach front properties that you would find along the Atlantic Ocean. The secret is out about Sandbridge...it offers a quiet, relaxing, laid back atmosphere ... most vacationers would love to keep it a secret . But what can Sandbridge offer that no other beach front community can? Over 300 fully furnished beach home rentals on five miles of pristine shoreline. Rentals can accommodate up to 6-20 people comfortably in 2-9 bedroom homes.
According to Caroline Shaw, Sandbridge is "...very quiet...a collection of cottages on the ocean with no large hotels, very quaint and geared for the family to have FUN. When you rent a beach house here, you get a feel for what it must be like to own a home on the beach in this unique beach community."
What type of activities would you find in this coastal community?
