Faithful companion. Who.
Embraces me with warmth,
Helps to relieve my pain,
Makes no demands of me.
A mutual understanding and
Respect of each other's needs.
Non-judgmental, supportive.
Should coldness come between us,
The warmth can be rekindled, but.
Should trust be betrayed, 'leaked', respect lost,
Mutual well-being and understanding gone,
Usefulness outlived,
The damage irreparable,
Should anger ensue,
Time to move on, let go, throw away! Find anew.
