I never really watched Jon and Kate until this weekend when they had the marathon. And I didn’t get all that far because my family pulled me away as they were being driven crazy….”Mom, come on! Kate and Jon????” I just cannot get the picture out of my head of young Kate running in front of Cinderella’s castle so in love with Jon.

It’s very very sad. I know Kate’s behavior is sometimes, um, abrasive, but isn’t she like that cool friend you might have who says what she thinks no matter how much you point out to her that, well, that might not be a good idea, but you love her anyway? She’s interesting and yes, fame has gone to her head, but, it’s her life;)

And Jon, well, Kate reiminds me of my mil, even if she gave you a compliment, she had to take it back, or underhandedly give
it to you. As when my husband had a few paintings in a show, she said, “You never cease to amaze me.” Not, ” These are absolutely fabulous or great job!.” No, she had to skirt around the compliment so it turns out she is NOT actually complimenting you after all. You know people like that.

Not sure how he put up with her as long as he did.

But, what happened to counseling? Did something happen that we didn’t see? Is Kate beyond counseling? Is that it? Does Jon know it?

I don’t know and I guess you don’t either. I just feel so very sorry for the kids. They are so adorably cute and innocent.
